I printed this book as a test to see how the layout looks and the text and also how the iages come out on this stock. I found that the images look slightly pixilated, this is due to this textured antique stock, not the image quality. The text could be smaller but i dont really think it needs to be as thinking of the target audience they are all kinds of people staying at the hotel that may have slight difficulties when reading smaller text. It is 11 pt and I think its ok how it is.
As I am making the front cover from wood, it went slightly wrong as is rastered the text fine and it actually looked quite good, and as I wanted it to be embossed, I had to raster around the letters and logo which was very time consuming. When it was almost all done it started to raster the wood alot deeper than the rest which I have no idea why, So I will defonatly do this again. And also varnish the wood.
